During the month of November, Tart Cider will be collecting non-perishable food donations to support the Thurston County Food Bank. For every item a customer donates to the food drive, they will receive a $2 discount on their cider purchase in the taproom.
"Food scarcity is a real issue in our community, and anything we can do to relieve the pressure of local families finding food is central to our hearts" says owner, Kyle Hillman.
The Thurston County Food Bank's mission is to eliminate hunger within our community, in the spirit of neighbor helping neighbor. 50% of the people served by the food bank are children, and the food bank has helped eliminate over 1.75 million pounds of wholesome food from going to waste.
